National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on July 1 all across India to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. This day is dedicated to all medical professionals who work and serve patients round the clock to save lives.
Delhi Public School, Firozabad celebrated National Doctor’s Day on 1 July 2022 to pay tribute to all medical practitioners as this year is special for their ethical and relentless service to the humanity.
The celebration was an attempt to emphasize on the value of doctors in our lives and to express our gratitude towards them. Principal, Dr. Gaurav Dubey also took part and discussed with the students that Doctors are the real heroes who fought at the forefront to save millions of lives around the globe in the present situation and also during the pandemic. The principal of Medical College, Dr. Sangeeta Aneja also addressed the students.
The blood checkup of the entire DPS FAMILY including the teachers, students and staff was also conducted. The doctors explained the students about importance of health and hygiene. Students asked their queries, interacted with the doctors, and also answered the questions put up by them.
It was indeed a wonderful day that was observed with a spirit of thankfulness and gratitude.
